The Great One was so popular that we decided to make it Grand!
It's still the same delicious Cinnamon Swirl Coffee Cake only double the size. This moist, tasty and delicious cake is swirling with cinnamon and sugar throughout, then we top it with our fabulous cinnamon crumb with just the right amount of icing.

I've purchased 2 of these cakes recently - the first one I took to a friend's house for the July 4th weekend and it was delicious. When I returned home I ordered another one for me and when it arrived the cake had obviously been cooked too long. The outside of the cake was dark and had a burnt flavor which overwhelmed the usual delicious inside of the cake.

This was my first order from 'The Original Boston Coffee Cake Co.' and definitely NOT my last. Having been blessed to travel while managing a global business, I have been almost singularly focused on European baked goods to replicate the moist flavors and high quality ingredients discovered abroad. Please know that this is, hands down, the absolute best coffee cake my beloved USA delivers. Each piece tastes fresh from the oven and is decadently moist & yummy. My only "concern" (desperation!) is that both sizes are now sold out. Though I'm waiting for more, I cannot promise to exert much patience. This coffee cake is just too darned good!!

However, this time I send him The Grand One, and he said it was delicious but there were no walnuts on it--only cinnamon. not sure what happened with that or why there were no walnuts. I was disappointed to have heard about that. I will probably just stick to buying the smaller size from now on.

I have ordered from Boston Coffee Cake in the past, both for myself, and as gifts, but it had been a while. On a whim, thinking I'd like to indulge myself, I ordered one for myself just recently. There was a deal on getting two, and I thought, sure, these are awesome, I'll get two. I ended up giving one as a Mother's Day gift, and enjoying the other one myself. It was delicious, and just the right amount to eat over the course of a few days. The coffee cakes are very nicely packaged, and super delicious.
