I had purchased a Boston coffee cake a few months ago for us and it was exceptional. I then had a cake shipped from the website to a childhood friend in CA that found it too also be unbelievably good! I purchased a cake from Market Basket and shipped that day to my brother via APO to Germany. I protected the cake as best as possible but still arrived pretty broken but my brother, Chris, only reference to a good coffee cake was a Sara Lee variety. It arrived today and he facetime me to express his sincere delight that it was truly awesome and can't wait for some further cakes. It's especially special that it comes from my home state of MA!

I have used Boston Coffee Cake to send gifts of thanks on several occasions and the recipients are always delightfully surprised by the gift but more delighted by the quality of the delicious products. I normally get a brief thank you when the gift is received and then a much longer thank you a few days later once they have tasted the product. The only thing that would make your walnut/cinnamon coffee cake
better would be more of the gooey cinnamon mixture inside the cake. It would be great if there was like a "second swirl" of cinnamon inside the cake. You pretty much already have enough walnuts to go around, but you can never have too much cinnamon.
One other area would be the top of the cake. That cinnamon/sugar topping is delicious, and more of that all over the top of the cake rather than in just a few areas would also be great. I realize that this would ultimately raise the price of the product, but I don't mind paying for quality. Maybe you could offer two different versions - the regular one you have now - and then a super-duper, double-duty version for people who really want to taste that cinnamon/sugar/walnut surprise throughout the cake.
You asked my opinion, so there you go.

I watch for any discounts and free shipping, which is the only way I can keep my purchases affordable.
