The original cinnamon walnut coffee cake was outstanding. Moist, great flavor and just the right amount of black walnuts. It literally flew off the cake plate during our open house, and I was lucky to save a small piece for myself. I had ordered this for my 97 year old mother, who said it was great, but had not gotten to taste it first hand. So, now I've ordered two more cakes, one of the same and an apple caramel one for our Mother's Day celebration! Keep up the great work!

Someone else mentioned there were "only two of us" so they couldn't eat it fast enough and it got stale quickly. Same here: only two of us. Cut the cake in half and froze it. Problem solved.

I have ordered this many times as gifts for many people over the years. Each time, the order has arrived as scheduled and the recipients ALL love the product. This year I ordered this for my house re: Christmas Dinner for my guests. Unfortunately - it did not arrive in time as scheduled, missing the dinner. I called C/S and the man was very pleasant and without hesitation filed for a new order telling me the original order was lost at UPS and the new order placed would arrive on the Friday after Christmas - which it did. In fact, UPS must have gotten their act together and I received the original order the Tuesday after Christmas. Hard to complain about receiving 2 of your delicious cakes - but - having the original arrive on time would have been better. I remain a loyal customer and will continue ordering.

These cakes are fabulous! Every year, I order multiple cakes for people on my Christmas list. I am never disappointed. The only thing I am disappointed with is the online ordering which needs to be updated so it can be navigated better. I placed 7-8 cake orders and 2 of them had to be updated as my send to reflected my address. Your system would not allow me to change it so I had to call an operator who also could not change it. The operator had to refer it to the corporate office to change it. Someone called me back and it was fixed but had your system allowed changes, it would have been simpler for everyone. This difficulty in online ordering was frustrating but it does not take away from your delicious cakes. Thank you for the consistency and arrival timeliness of your product.

This is the second cinnamon walnut coffee cake ordered as a gift. This time the package was lost in transit by the shipping carrier and efforts to track down the package with the shipper was less than satisfactory. However, I could not be more pleased with my experience contacting the Boston Coffee Cake Company call center. The individual with whom I spoke was polite, professional and took immediate action to rectify the problem. Within a days time I received an email apologizing for the UPS delivery issue, and advising that a replacement order would be shipped at no cost via expedited shipping. The cinnamon walnut coffee cake was received on the date promised, and was said to be moist and simply delicious. I am impressed with both the product sold and also the manner in which the company conducts business. Will definitely be a return customer.

I recently sent a coffee cake to my 82 year old mother as a gift for Easter. She had an upcoming birthday party for a friend but she had not had a chance to get out to get a gift because she had not been feeling well. I knew she was feeling better and didn't want to show up without a gift. I also knew her coffee cake had just arrived the evening before. I suggested she take the coffee cake as a gift and she was thrilled!! She joined her friends at the birthday luncheon and they all shared the cake for dessert. They all thoroughly enjoyed it and even shared some with their server. I mail these wonderful coffee cakes not only to my family but to my work clients as well for the holidays. Oh Wowww, don't know where to begin. The cake arrived and a half was gone in half an hour. I'm still wearing the pounds. It was so good I didn't want to tell my family it was on the counter. I first had this coffee cake when a neighbor sent one to my mother-in-law. Loved it so much that I saved the ordering info for future gifts. Ordered one for my mother's birthday. She loved it too! The cake was so moist and fresh. The packaging was perfect to keep it fresh indefinitely, but that wasn't tested since it surely didn't last long! The other flavors look awesome too but the Original Cinnamon Walnut Coffee cake is so delicious it would be hard to order another flavor unless of course you order more that one! I hinted around and it did not show up for Christmas, so I took matters into my own hands and ordered one (12 hours after my husband ordered one as a surprise). I had received one of the coffee cakes for my birthday in December. It was so good, I could not keep my hands off of it. When I needed a present for a BD for one of my friends, who I had just discovered had a BD only a week later, I rushed to the Boston coffee cake site. Their map indicated it would only take four days to get it to my friend, located in Florida. It got it there the date promised! Which is amazing, as I am still receiving Christmas cards here the third week of January that were mailed December 10th. Great cake, great delivery, and my friend loved it as much as I did! I love your cakes. A cake was shipped on 12/16 as a Christmas gift to my daughter's in-laws. Later I found out that they were not in town for that weekend. 12/19 - 12/20. I could not find a way to track the package to determine the delivery date to advise them to ask a friend to pick it up for them. If there is a way to track your products, would you please advise. Otherwise, I hope in the future that you will allow delivery tracking of your wonderful cakes.

My Mom loves the Original Cinnamon Walnut cake, so every once in a while I will send her one as a surprise. She takes a small piece each morning with coffee and just loves the taste and texture of the cake. Ordering from Boston Cake is easy and they are really interested in customer satisfaction. So much so that they advise ordering early in the week so as not have their product sitting in the post office over a weekend. They package the product well and even have express delivery for people like me who wait till the last minute. I have used them for the last five years and the products have always arrived fresh and on time. If you want to reward someone with a special treat, Boston Coffee Cake comes highly recommended. And you don't have to join any club or have an account since they have "Guest" checkout.

From the first time I tasted the Cinnamon Walnut Coffee Cake I knew it was a winner. The taste is amazing! My first cake came as a gift from Family. After tasting the first piece I went outside to give a neighbor the chance to taste a piece and she was just as satisfied. At the time she was holding her 2-3 month old son and she offered him a small piece. It was so funny watching him taste it nibble by nibble. I've always enjoyed the Boston Coffee cake Walnut/Cinnamon variety but a few years ago had a competition between my brother on which type coffee cake was the best. He's in military overseas so at times I would buy cakes at Market Basket and repackage and ship APO. Other times like on this purchase I bought direct to get a tin protective housing and reshipped same box via APO. Since then I've ordered it for myself and for gifts as well. Everyone loves it. Recently I sent a coffee cake in a delightful birthday tin and the recipient was so delighted. It's truly sumptuous...wonderful flavor and yet not overly sweet...and always fresh, sent in a sturdy attractive box. I also think it's a nice touch that they include a plastic bag to store it in. I've only tried the original cinnamon walnut flavor but the others look delicious too and look forward to trying some of the varieties by ordering some minis.

When I first tried Boston Coffee Cake I really liked it and asked my husband to try a small piece. He is kind of iffy on things like coffee cake. He tried a piece and asked for another piece. I now find I must keep the original Cinnamon Walnut coffee cakes in the freezer so he can have his piece at breakfast time. We always send this cake for special occasions and even for sad situations (get well, death in a family, etc.). It's always a hit. People tell us they love it. For those people who actually have cake left, they have told us it freezes well. During this pandemic, we decided to treat ourselves so we ordered a cake for ourselves. We would have eaten the whole cake but we surely didn't need the calories. We shared it with two of our neighbors and our mail carrier. The cake was loved by all.
