2025 was the second year I ordered various products from the Boston Coffee Cake company. A friend had recommend the company saying that the quality was faultless. Last year my friends and family raved about the cakes. This year I decided to send cakes not just to family but to clients and vendors. The mini cakes are perfect for offices! Also, I sent a cake to myself! Only then did I realize how beautifully and carefully the cakes are packaged and presented. A real bonus. I discovered the Cranberry Orange Walnut cake a few years ago, and it's become my holiday breakfast treat ever since. It's incredibly fresh, with vibrant flavors. It's light but not too light. Just perfect for a relaxed breakfast. The cake always comes well protected in solid packaging and with a plastic bag to keep it fresh. Prices are really reasonable for the quality, and delivery is in a day or two from ordering. Can't say enough good stuff -- easy company to deal with and great product. What more can I want?

Delicious cakes & excellent service! As gifts, I have both received & given the cakes. Recently, customer service advised me that they would add my message to my gift of one cake when I did not notice how to do so online. I assume that the second cake was sent out for free when it was noticed that the first cake had not included my message. This coffee cake is delicious. It is moist and full of cranberries. I have not found a cake from this company that I have not liked and I frequently Purchase the small ones at the supermarket. The holiday cakes come in a strong box with a large plastic bag so you can keep it fresh. I also slice it and bag the slices in ziploc to freeze.

I ordered the cranberry orange walnut cake for my husband's 75 birthday. Celebrated with family. I had asked for the cake to arrive on June 10 and was surprised when it arrived on the 5th. I decided to freeze the cake until late on the 12. When the cake defrosted, it started to fall apart even before I cut into it. Unfortunately, aesthetically, it did not present very well. I think the cranberries and walnuts probably had something to do with it. I have had Boston cakes before and always had a very positive experience with freezing. The taste, moistness and texture were out of this world. Nothing could destroy that!! Just thought I'd mention it. Maybe this one isn't the best candidate for freezing. I am happy to report that everyone thoroughly enjoyed the cake and the party was a big hit. Keep on baking those bundts - they are absolutely the best.

We absolutely love the cranberry orange coffee cake! It is so moist and flavorful. My only complaint is that it (and many of the other flavors) don't come in a smaller version. The three lb cake is too much for just two people, so I cut it in half and freeze part of it when it arrives. It freezes beautifully.

If you have not already had the pleasure to try this coffee cake you won't ever be able to compare with this one!! I received the Blueberry Blizzard one as a gift then I liked it so much, I sent 3 others as gifts! I received amazing comments on how they have never tasted a coffee cake this delicious. The cranberry orange walnut is a real delight. Flavor is great, and its something I hope would be available all year long as I wish to be able to reorder.

I buy Boston Coffee Cakes twice a year for my Aunt who lives in the Mid-Atlantic area. She Loooooooves them. She has told me that they are so moist and delectable. Since the cakes are so big my Aunt eats some of the cake then she cuts the cake into slices and freezes the slices, which freeze quite well. The cranberry orange walnut is extremely flavorful. She asks for these cakes specifically for her birthday and the holiday cake for Christmas. Thank you for making the BEST Coffee Cakes Ever!!!!!!!!

We just tried your Canberry Orange Walnut Coffee Cake. It lasted only a few days because we couldn't stop grabbing small pieces of it. My husband has a problem leaving anything sweet alone whereas I have always been very disciplined and allow myself one piece of any baked goods in the house, whether bought or made by me. This cake is so much better than my family recipe for a simlar cake that I cheated and ate two pieces of it a couple of days. And they were big pieces! It is incredibly moist, with just the right amount of cranberries and walnuts. The orange flavor, with just a touch of lemon??, makes the batter is perfect flavor to compliment to the other tastes. This the best cake of its type I have ever eaten and I will no longer bother with my family recipe!

This is a very good cake, but could be even better with the addition of orange zest, some more nuts and perhaps an orange icing drizzle, not much but some. The cake is very moist, a bit too moist. We toasted the slices for about 3 minutes and that was a big improvement. No butter needed.

The Cranberry Walnut was pleasant enough, but not very flavorful. I expected all the cranberries to lend it a tangy quality, but but it mostly just tasted like a yellow cake. It seemed to me there weren't enough cranberries or walnuts to call it a cranberry-walnut cake.
