These Cakes Freeze Beautifully

We wrap these cakes in wax paper, then aluminum foil; then put them in a a big baggie and throw them in the freezer. They defrost and taste beautiful when we decide to use them.

If you love to have a variety of small cakes available, in your freezer, then you should consider ordering the 12 coffee cakes from Boston Coffee Cakes. They freeze very well and are very moist when ready to eat. I recommend these little cakes.

Love the mini coffee cakes. Perfect size and love the variety of flavors. Sooooo very tasty!! I would like to see the bigger discounts to include free shipping. Shipping is expensive and even with a 15% or 20% discount and no free shipping, I pass on ordering because I don't feel it's a great deal. That would be one thing to consider changing. I think you would get more orders with free shipping included when the larger discounts are offered. Thank you

I have order cakes for a long time which actually started as a fundraiser for my Granddaughter & her school. I also order for the holidays and sending as a gift to family and friends. We love and never had issues until this order. My recipient did not receive. Someone else excepted as if he was the real recipient. I'm not sure what the policy is when going to another location but asking for an ID might help. This will not stop me from future orders. This rating is for delivery & not the cakes which are delicious.

My sister set me my first order from Boston Coffee Cakes...the Cinnamon Walnut 3 lb. I loved it and ordered it for my daughter in Texas. She ate the 1 and 1/2 lb. in one day. The next time I sent the mini coffee cakes hoping she'd freeze some for later. They were good but the taste wasn't as intense as the slice from the whole cake. I highly recommend the 3 lb. cake over the minis.

I have had the mini-Bundt cakes before. So, when I found them online, I succumbed to the temptation to try them again. I am so pleased that I did. The lemon Bundt is too delicious for words. The chocolate Bundt lightly warmed and served with coconut ice-cream and chocolate syrup is delicious. And the walnut Bundt is not to be missed! Try them all, over and over again. We ordered from Boston Coffee Cakes because we had them before and found them to be quite delicious. However, due to some errors on our part? UPS? or maybe Boston cakes there was a delay in the delivery. They answered my email inquiries immediately, rectified the problem even though i am not certain it was their error and acted like the Customer was always right! The cakes are scrumptious. When the box was delivered it was set on end and the icing on the lemon cakes melted and ran down on the other cakes in the Florida heat. Still delicious!

I have ordered these cakes before & expect them to be of the same quality as before. However, I was not expecting that the customer service dept. would be so attentive to my needs. I was very pleased with the rep. that contacted me about the delivery date I requested. After a warm discussion, we changed the delivery date to coincide with my visit with my family, so the items would be even fresher when I arrived. Great service-- I recommend not only the items they offer- which are great, but also cudo's to the service dept. for their attentiveness.

I recently sent the mini coffee cakes for the first time and got very good feedback. I was worried that they wouldn't be as good as the normal size cakes which I have sent out many times before. I heard that they were nicely packed, fresh and tasted great. I sent a 12 pack so that they could enjoy with guests and even have some to freeze for later which they have done. All in all a good experience and I would send those again. Thanks.

Bad Delivery Made Better

I had ordered the 12 Mini Coffee Cakes as a birthday gift and paid for 3-day delivery. They arrived at the recipient's house as a box of only crumbs. I contacted the Customer Service line right away, and they sent a new shipment immediately with 2-day air service to replace the mess that my brother had received. I was impressed with the swift action to rectify the problem. Maybe the word "FRAGILE" needs to be on the outside of the box, as clearly the box had been completely shaken and tossed about. Given the excellent customer service response, I would order this again -- but I would caution all to check with the person receiving your gift to be certain that they didn't receive a box of crumbs.

Aside from these cakes being absolutely delicious, the customer service of this company is outstanding. My box arrived with a few of them crushed. I called, explained the problem, emailed them a picture of the damaged goods and was told someone would get back to me in 20 minutes. Within that time, they called back apologetic and assured me I would receive replacement ones for the next day delivery (as I had a dinner party for that night). As promised, a box arrived the next morning. To my surprise, they not only replaced the damaged ones but sent me an entire new box of 12! This is a good company that values their customers. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Not only are these mini's great for entertaining (and delicious!), this company's customer service is outstanding. I received a box of 12 minis yesterday to find a few of them squashed and broken. I called and spoke to someone immediately, emailed over a picture of the damaged goods and within 20 minutes, someone else called me back promptly and arranged to replace the damaged ones for today receipt (in time for an event tonight). To my surprise, we received an entire box of 12 new ones this morning. OUTSTANDING customer service!!
