It was not to sweet and moist. We love the packaging of each boxes. I just put a small ribbon on top and gave it as a gift for my family and friends. Delivery was on time. It arrived on the 17th of December, just right before Christmas. I will definitely order again!

My wife is from the Boston area and decided this would be a good gift for neighbors and our older daughters. Our five neighbors have raved about how it was the best coffee cake they have ever had. We opened one with one of our daughters Christmas morning. I felt bad. We have one for us so I wasn't going to eat theirs. Then the smell got to me and before I knew it I was on my second BIG piece. Think we will be ordering more in the future. It was exactly as my wife had remembered.

I have been buying the 1.5 pound coffee cakes as gifts during the pandemic to use as a treat to lift the spirits of friends. They have been such a hit that now I keep some on hand when we go for a visit to someones home or know of someone who needs a "pick-me-up". The coffee cake was great! I bought a case of 8 to give them as holidays gifts to all of my team. The downside is that I had no way of knowing when they would arrive. There is no tracking mechanism. I also couldn't talk to anyone. Phone support, despite the number being listed dozens of times on the website is completely unattended. No one ever answered the phone! I called at least 6 times. Sometimes I waited more than an hour and still no one answered. I didn't get the package until January 4, after all the holidays. So in terms of customer support, this company has a long way to go.

I was so impressed with the whole process from Boston Coffee Cake! The cakes are incredibly fresh, come packaged in individual, sturdy boxes that are very easy to wrap, and are shipped very quickly. The 8 pack of 1 1/2 lbs. coffee cakes is awesome! I couldn't decide what to do regarding gifts for my husband's office this Christmas. In addition, we needed personal gifts for friends. We were in the midst of remodeling and what a life savior. I ordered one boxes of 8, then ordered a second box of 8. Gave them all away, but kept one for myself for Christmas breakfast. Beautiful boxes...I tied each box with a red mesh ribbon/bow and big impact. Not to mention what is inside. I have been giving these coffee cakes and the mini-coffee cakes to my parents for the past three years. Now, I am planning on making the 1 1/2 lb. boxes an annual gift giving tradition.
