I ordered two of the Blueberry coffee cakes for our family vacation and I have to say , it was wonderful, very moist and full of blueberries, sometimes when you get something blueberry you can't really taste the blueberry but this coffee cake there is no doubt that it is blueberry, not only taste them but you see them. I would absolutely recommend this for you blueberry lovers.

I recently ordered a Blueberry Blizzard and the classic Cinnamon Walnut coffee cake to send to friends gathering at their family summer residence on the Chesapeake Bay for the long holiday weekend The order arrived in tip-top shape just in time for the July 4th celebration. Needless to say, the breakfast and al fresco tables were abuzz with compliments and inquiries as to the origin of these treats. I'd hazard a guess that the sleep-ins that missed breakfast caught only the lingering aroma of the coffee and cakes that were enthusiastically consumed that morning. as an 85 year-old confirmed eater, i have been around long enough to know what's good and what's not. boston's coffee cakes are--absolutely--the best i have ever eaten. i especially enjoy the blueberry and the orange-walnut cakes. i know it's traditional to have them with coffee, but i can attest to the fact they are also good with cokes...and even WATER!! OH, and tea too!

I have been buying coffee cakes both for myself and I send many as gifts during the year. Typically I buy the 1-1/2 pound cakes, but this time there was a good sale on the 3 pound cakes so I thought I would treat myself. i ordered the blueberry blizzard cake. It is good, but for some reason it is not as good as the smaller ones are. Also i should have realized that it is not a good size for just one person. Thankfully it freezes well. Although I will order again, I will NOT order any of the 3 pound cakes again.

First of all, most other on line food items generally are much smaller than their photos. This cake was much larger than I expected. Secondly, the cake was really a pleasant surprise. Very moist and very flavorful. Not a single complaint. I also liked the fact that they included a large plastic bag to keep the cake in after you've cut a few slices. Overall, highly recommended.

All cakes are delicious, I am hoping to try the Whoopie pies soon. Boston Cakes customer service is amazing!!! I ordered 3 cakes, UPS didn't deliver for 5 days, not Boston Cakes fault. They sent me out three new cakes because the others were not fresh, so I donated to the Fire and Police Departments! I highly recommend trying these tasty cakes!!! Blueberry blizzard is my favorite coffee cake-although they are all good. However the 3 pound cakes are just too big for me I am alone and it takes me forever to eat one of these cakes. The 1-1/2 pound are a much better size for me. If you buy a 3 pound cake make sure you have some help eating it as they are big!

The only thing that could be an improvement would be if you offered this flavor in a 1 1/2 pound version that could be ordered by itself. With only 2 people to share, that 3 pounder is a lot of calories to be tempted with!

I received a Boston coffee cake a few years ago as a gift. That year, it was the best gift I received, and so every following year, I've been ordering several as gifts for far-away friends, and one for me. This year I ordered the Blueberry Blizzard. Amazing. Moist without being soggy. Clearly great-tasting blueberries, and lots of them. A firm consistency of cake that tastes equally as good cold and warmed up a bit. All in all, one of Boston's finest. I cannot recommend this company and its products too highly. Delivery times are always on target, prices are exceptional for the quality of the goods, packaging is excellent (and you get a plastic bag for storage). All in all, just a great place to do business!

I do wish the tracking information was included, as I have had to call the company for all my orders, to request the tracking. It was packaged extremely well!!! I was very impressed!!! The most moist, flavorful, soft coffee cake!!! Will defiantly order again and again. I would only suggestion under the description is to list if you can freeze it & the FAQ page on your site didn't have it listed. I saw it in the packaging, once open. But, I would have liked to know ahead of time. I would have ordered more at the time. UPS was my only issue, covid or not. For some reason passes off the job to the post office and was waiting for it. But, the BCC is great in customer service and their cakes are just amazing!!! Large, tasty and great with coffee!!!

Probably a decent enough cake if not wrapped in plastic and shipped. Arrives a little too soft, crumbly from shipping, and overly sticky and moist from packaging . Reheating might help a little with that. The cake is sickly sweet, bordering on inedible, however. Unremarkable compared to your local bakery or even grocery store coffee cake.

Cake was good but due to where I live (desert Southwest) and it being summer, the topping on the cake was a bit melted into the cake when it arrived late afternoon after having been on a hot UPS delivery truck all day. Also, although the inside was a good texture and blueberries were generous, the outer crust was done a little too dark for my liking. It was a dark toast brown instead of a deep golden brown. Those things aside, flavor was good, and cake was eaten in this household, no complaints!

This is my third coffee cake that I have purchased. Each coffee cake is DELICIOUS..The best ever..I will continue to buy more coffee cakes from The Boston Coffee Cakes. I would recommend everyone to purchase a coffee cake at least one time. I guarantee they will enjoy it as much as I do.
