Boston Coffee Cake was founded in 1992 on the premise of making the best coffee cake there is. Because we’re a family owned business, at least one member of our family oversees every cake we make. It’s a matter of family pride!

The original coffee cake recipe came from our Grandma Esther and has been passed down for generations. Now, we are proud to make it for you to enjoy.

We started out in a 1600 square foot bakery in Woburn, Massachusetts where we made about 50 cakes a day. I would put the cakes in my car and deliver them around town. By 1996 Boston Coffee Cake had expanded to a 6000 square foot facility with 10 workers. Our reputation for being the best coffee cake in New England was quickly spreading.

Today, Boston Coffee Cake bakes not only our famous cakes, but many other gourmet desserts and specialty treats, in a 40,000 square foot bakery located in Ward Hill, Massachusetts. We have over 30 excellent employees that are dedicated to making our high quality cakes.

Each of our gifts is hand packed especially for you. We truly believe that we make the best cakes in America. But, don’t just take our word for it.
